Required Qualifications
- Current Texas PT License or PT Compact License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ICU experience
Patient Population
- Adult and older adult patients (18+)
- Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, stroke (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), anoxic brain injury, and complex wound care
Responsibilities
- Mobilize medically complex patients, including those with ventilators, tracheostomies, PEG/NG tubes, and IVs
- Utilize mobility equipment including cardiac chairs, Hoyer lifts, and other rehabilitation devices
Facility Information
- 45-bed LTACH (average census in the mid-20s)
- EHR: ProTouch
