Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 3+ Month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support Talent Acquisition and Talent Management functions. This role will be responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, managing candidate and onboarding processes, supporting learning and development initiatives, and providing administrative assistance across HR programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Support

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and recruiting strategies.
  • Manage candidate and requisition activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including job postings, candidate dispositioning, offer creation, and approval coordination.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial candidate phone screenings, and identify qualified talent.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews, including scheduling, meeting logistics, video conferencing setup, and interviewer debriefs.
  • Arrange candidate travel and support expense reimbursement processes as needed.
  • Provide regular recruiting status updates to hiring managers and HR stakeholders.
  • Facilitate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and communication with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Support onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, welcome communications, documentation collection, and system updates.
  • Ensure offer-related activities are completed accurately, including relocation and incentive-related processes.
  • Assist with internship and rotational program coordination, including schedules, communications, events, and program administration.
  • Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, networking opportunities, and university outreach activities to build talent pipelines.
  • Maintain and update recruiting resources, templates, and internal talent acquisition tools.

Talent Management Support

  • Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling, invitations, vendor communication, materials preparation, and invoice processing.
  • Support virtual and in-person training sessions by assisting participants, facilitators, and presenters.
  • Provide administrative support for Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course creation, enrollment management, reporting, and user assistance.
  • Assist with performance management, talent review, succession planning, and related HR initiatives.
  • Support employee feedback and survey programs, including responding to inquiries and system administration needs.
  • Maintain training calendars, event schedules, and program communications.
  • Update internal talent management resources, tools, and web content as needed.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience or completion of a Human Resources internship.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, training coordination, or related HR functions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize HR systems and business applications.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, employment regulations, and recruiting best practices.
  • Creative sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
