Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Individual Contributor)
Location: Remote (U.S.) or Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop foundational software components supporting robotics and enabling technology applications. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reusable software components that integrate with clinical application architectures. The ideal candidate has strong C++ development experience in Linux environments and is comfortable working independently throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shared software components for clinical applications.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain reusable software modules.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform code reviews, defect resolution, documentation, and code analysis.
• Ensure software components meet functional and design requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software integration and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to unit testing and software quality initiatives.
• Follow version control and CI/CD development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with C++.
• Experience developing applications using Qt.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases.
• Experience designing and managing data models, schemas, and databases.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with unit testing methodologies.
• Experience working with JSON or other data serialization formats.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D geometry.
• Knowledge of CAD modeling and mesh processing.
• Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems.
