Position: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 5+ Month Contract
***W2 Contract**No C2C***
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Skills
- VMware administration and private cloud infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong Linux/Unix systems administration experience.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale infrastructure or cloud environments.
- Experience with private cloud technologies, virtualization, bare-metal environments, and file/block storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads using tools such as Helm and ArgoCD.
- Experience developing automation frameworks for OS image creation and deployment.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational trade-offs.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Experience
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or platform engineering background.
- Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems and mission-critical infrastructure.
- Proven track record of building highly resilient and automated infrastructure solutions.
