About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Data Engineering Manager with a strong background in AI, Generative AI, automation, data analytics, and digital transformation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can bridge business and technology teams, transforming complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions, workflow automation, data transformation processes, and analytics platforms while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on experience building AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, or digital workflow solutions.
• Experience developing or configuring custom GPTs, AI assistants, chatbots, or prompt-based workflows.
• Strong coding and automation experience using technologies such as:

• Experience with one or more of the following platforms:

AI & Data Management

• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, or document intelligence solutions.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI solution design.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Knowledge of data transformation, validation, quality management, and workflow automation.

Business & Leadership Skills

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
• Ability to create process maps, technical documentation, and solution designs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts to business users and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, product ownership, or digital product delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes such as inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, distribution planning, or trade compliance.
• Understanding of Responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance best practices.

Education & Experience

One of the following is required:

• Master's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience, OR
• Diploma with 9-11 years of relevant experience.
