Position: PAS-X Support Engineer (Werum MES)
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Werum PAS-X MES.
- Strong experience in PAS-X Configuration and system support activities.
- Hands-on experience with PAS-X Version 3.1.8.
- Proven experience supporting PAS-X in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of:
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Electronic Batch Records (EBR)
- Computerized System Validation (CSV)
- IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
- Knowledge of MES concepts and industry standards such as ISA-88 and ISA-95.
- Experience integrating PAS-X with enterprise and shop-floor systems, including:
- SAP (PP/PI, MII)
- LIMS
- ERP systems
- PLC/SCADA systems
- Historians
- Interfaces using IDocs, XML, REST APIs, OPC, and Web Services
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and test execution skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in full lifecycle MES implementations, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, electronic signatures, and audit trail requirements.
- PAS-X certifications or related MES certifications.
- Experience working in highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
