Our client is currently seeking a SRE/Devops Data Obfuscation Lead
Senior SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong database expertise to own and drive a critical Data Obfuscation MRA initiative. This role requires a technical leader who can work directly with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, and developers to ensure successful execution and delivery.
Years of Experience:10+ years preferred
Must Haves:
10+ years of SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering experience
Large-scale Financial Services experience
Strong database expertise with deep understanding of:
DDL (Data Definition Language)
DML (Data Manipulation Language)
Database design and data management concepts
Strong programming experience in:
Java, Python, Ruby, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
CI/CD experience (GitLab preferred)
Git / source control expertise
Containerization experience:
Docker
Kubernetes (K8s)
API development and integration experience
Azure cloud experience
Quality Assurance / testing experience
Experience supporting large enterprise applications and multiple application teams
Ability to own initiatives and drive execution with minimal oversight
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management experience
Proven ability to work directly with business partners and senior leadership
Data Obfuscation / Data Masking experience
Nice to Haves:
Financial Institution Data Conditioning experience
Experience with -specific applications or data environments
Mainframe application experience
Experience supporting MRA, regulatory, compliance, or audit-driven initiatives
Infrastructure as Code experience
Data governance and data privacy experience
