About the Role
Seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular, Python FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS. The role involves providing technical direction, driving architecture decisions, managing technical debt, mentoring team members, and owning delivery execution while collaborating across product, QA, and DevOps teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building scalable applications, designing APIs, optimizing databases, and working with cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, contribute to architecture decisions, and maintain architectural decision records (ADRs).
• Own and manage technical debt and promote a strong code review culture.
• Mentor team members, unblock development challenges, facilitate knowledge sharing, and conduct one-on-one sessions.
• Lead sprint planning, effort estimation, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Design and develop scalable frontend, backend, database, and cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications:

Frontend - Angular

• Experience with Angular 15+ and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, modules, lazy loading, standalone components, and reusable design systems.
• Experience with state management using NgRx and/or Angular Signals.
• Proficiency in reactive programming with RxJS and service-layer design.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including change detection and AOT compilation.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, and Cypress.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Backend - Python FastAPI

• Experience designing RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Proficiency with Pydantic models, dependency injection, and OpenAPI documentation.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming using async/await patterns.
• Experience with background tasks, caching, and rate limiting.
• Knowledge of authentication and security practices, including JWT, OAuth2, middleware, CORS, input validation, and OWASP principles.
• Experience with Python 3.10+, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.

Database - PostgreSQL

• Experience with database schema design, normalization, indexing strategies, and database migrations.
• Strong knowledge of query optimization techniques, including EXPLAIN ANALYZE, CTEs, window functions, and query plan tuning.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy (synchronous and asynchronous implementations).
• Understanding of transaction isolation, connection pooling, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Alembic migrations.

Cloud - AWS

• Experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, including SNS and SQS.
• Experience with fan-out patterns and dead letter queues.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue for ETL jobs, crawlers, data catalog management, and S3 integration.
• Understanding of AWS IAM, security best practices, and CloudWatch monitoring.
