About the Role

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong nCino and Salesforce expertise to support large-scale banking and digital lending initiatives. This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, lead data mapping and systems integration efforts, support testing and platform releases, and drive process improvements across lending operations. The position requires deep knowledge of lending workflows, data integration, and business analysis best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison and subject matter expert between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners for the nCino lending platform.
• Lead requirements workshops, design reviews, stakeholder discussions, and release governance activities.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level business analysts, reviewing deliverables for quality and consistency.
• Advise product owners, project managers, and leadership on platform roadmap priorities, risks, and trade-offs.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Analyze current lending processes and design future-state workflows to improve automation and operational controls.
• Document end-to-end solution designs for enhancements and new features, including cross-functional impact assessments.
• Lead source-to-target data mapping efforts between nCino/Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Define and maintain field-level mapping specifications, data dictionaries, transformation logic, and business rules for integration and ETL development.
• Collaborate with data engineering and integration teams on API, middleware, and batch integration solutions.
• Validate data lineage, data quality, reconciliation processes, and post-migration results.
• Support data migration activities, including extraction, cleansing, mapping, loading, and validation.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues in coordination with technical and business stakeholders.
• Lead system validation, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Manage change management activities, training materials, release communications, and user adoption support.
• Monitor platform performance, adoption metrics, operational reporting, and data quality dashboards.
• Lead issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution efforts for production incidents.
• Ensure requirements, data mappings, and process documentation align with lending policies, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and audit standards.
• Maintain requirements traceability and audit-ready documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience; 8+ years preferred for lead-level candidates.
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience with nCino and Salesforce, including configuration, workflow, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial or consumer lending operations, credit workflows, loan operations, and portfolio management.
• Demonstrated experience with data mapping, ETL processes, systems integration projects, and source-to-target mapping.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability, and impact analysis.
• Strong understanding of lending workflows, underwriting, credit operations, compliance requirements, and risk controls.
• Experience leading UAT, regression testing, release management, and change management initiatives.
• Strong data literacy with experience working with data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, mapping documents, and SQL validation/reconciliation.
• Experience supporting data migration, data quality analysis, and cross-system reconciliation efforts.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with nCino implementations or platform upgrades.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar integration technologies.
• Salesforce and/or nCino certifications.
