This position is for a Software Quality Assurance Test Automation Engineer on the Sales and Service Technology team. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing automated test plans and solutions that support our business within a highly distributed Java Web Service application infrastructure.
The Sales and Service Technology team is a forward-leaning development organization that heavily leverages agile methodologies. In this role, you will cross-collaborate with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within the broader enterprise to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with agile team members to provide creative technical solutions in a highly dynamic environment.
· Implement testing software and automation to meet functional requirements, ensuring systems are robust, fault-tolerant, and highly available (24x7x365).
· Provide expertise and guidance in web-based, distributed, and cloud-based computing application development.
· Interact directly with product managers, business analysts, and developers to define comprehensive test plans and test cases for both new and enhanced system capabilities.
Minimum qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance with distributed applications across the full development and operational support lifecycle.
· Experience with the Salesforce Platform.
· Experience with RESTful API TDD, BDD, performance testing best practices, and testing tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman, JMeter, REST-assured).
Preferred qualifications
· Familiarity with the Java Spring Technology Stack and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (including BitBucket, Maven, Bamboo, MongoDB, and Kafka).
· Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Experience working collaboratively across team boundaries with geographically distributed teams.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a group while multitasking across different projects.
