Title: Active Directory Engineer
Location: Remote
Rate: 40-70/hr (Depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per Week (PST)
Length of Assignment: 1 Year to start; may go perm, may stay contract. (Not just a 1 year job)

kills & Experience Needed
- Strong experience managing Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts including provisioning, authentication, authorization, MFA, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Experience with Group Policy, Active Directory administration, and hybrid identity environments
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for complex identity and access issues
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Experience supporting enterprise security controls, privileged access, and compliance requirements
- Ability to develop technical documentation, procedures, and system designs
- Experience with change management, incident management, and ITIL-based support processes
- Strong communication and customer-service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating across infrastructure, security, and application teams
- DNS - (preferably) Infoblox, MS DNS and Cloudflare
- Entra ID Connect - Manage sync health, support sync issues
- Conditional Access Policies - Escalation support for other teams troubleshooting, managing and implementation
- SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM
- PKI (ADCS)
- MS patching of Infrastructure servers
Preferred
- 5+ years of Active Directory and identity management experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and hybrid cloud environments
- Relevant Microsoft, IAM, or ITIL certifications
