Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM CST

Position Summary:
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Electronic Prior Authorization (ePA) services. Responsibilities include completing prior authorization requests, reviewing patient charts, contacting providers, patients, pharmacies, and payers, and managing case follow-ups to ensure timely medication access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete prior authorizations through EMR systems and payer portals.
- Review patient charts and gather supporting documentation.
- Contact providers, patients, pharmacies, and insurance payers as needed.
- Follow up on pending cases and manage team inboxes and phone calls.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely case resolution.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of pharmacy, call center, or customer service experience.
- Active TSBP Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, multitasking, and computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Prior authorization experience, auditing experience, or bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with prior authorizations.
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.
- Quick learner with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
