(CTO) responsible for translating enterprise growth strategy into scalable, secure, and high‑availability digital platforms.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role owns end‑to‑end accountability for engineering execution, platform architecture, reliability, AI enablement, and delivery velocity across all core product domains.

Lead cost‑to‑serve reduction, and multi‑year enterprise scale.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead all enterprise product engineering teams across network operations, routing, sortation, driver platforms, customer experience, and data platforms

• Define and execute the enterprise engineering strategy, architecture standards, and operating model

• Establish a service‑oriented, API‑first architecture built on independently deployable microservices

• Eliminate shared databases, hard‑coded logic, and undocumented dependencies that slow change

• Drive disciplined execution under imperfect requirements with clear escalation and decision‑making

• Institutionalize engineering knowledge to eliminate single‑points‑of‑failure

• Reduce legacy complexity as an ongoing leadership expectation

• Maintain a transparent enterprise engineering roadmap aligned to CEO and Board priorities

• Apply disciplined judgment in build vs. buy decisions, including preparing platforms for agentic AI evolution

• Own financial stewardship of engineering investments, vendor spend, and ROI Engineering Operating Model:

• Product‑aligned engineering pods with clear ownership and accountability

• Quarterly planning and roadmap governance tied to enterprise outcomes

• Architecture review and technical standards governance

• Metrics‑driven execution focused on time‑to‑production, release frequency, and ease of change Leadership & Governance:

• Direct accountability to the CEO for technology performance and outcomes

• Executive‑level presence with Board and private‑equity sponsors

• Build, develop, and retain an elite engineering leadership bench

• Partner closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Commercial leaders

Qualifications: • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience

• 7+ years leading large, multi‑team engineering organizations

• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud‑native platforms, APIs, and data architecture

• Proven experience scaling platforms in logistics, transportation, e‑commerce, marketplace, or high‑transaction environments

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large technology budgets Leadership Profile:
