Oracle Financials Consultant (Contract) – Onsite

Location: Fully REMOTE (Must be able to work PST/CST hours)
Employment Type: Contract
Openings: 3 Positions (1 Senior, 2 Junior Openings)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Oracle Financials Consultants with strong expertise in Oracle Core Financials, specifically FAH (Financial Accounting Hub), General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Receivable (AR), and BI Publisher (BIP). The ideal candidates will have a strong background in accounting process transformation, solution architecture, data modeling, and financial systems integration.

The Senior Consultant will bring 10+ years of experience, while Junior Consultants should have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience. Candidates with financial services industry experience are strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Extensive hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
    • Oracle General Ledger (GL)
    • Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA)
    • Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)

Functional & Business Expertise

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Accounting process transformation
    • Solution architecture
    • Data modeling
    • Financial systems integration
  • Deep understanding of:

    • Accounting principles and financial processes
    • Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Experience:

    • Configuring and supporting integrations between accounting systems
    • Identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements
    • Designing and maintaining accounting data models
    • Creating technical and functional design documentation
    • Supporting product launches and reporting readiness
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system alignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting systems transformation initiatives.
  • Design scalable Oracle Financials solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Configure and support Oracle accounting modules and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting data models supporting operational and reporting requirements.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create technical and functional documentation for enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Support product launches by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and Integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and optimization.
  • Ensure seamless data flow across systems and financial processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tax-related processes and financial consolidation systems (FCCS).
  • Knowledge of Oracle AI and automation capabilities.
  • Prior experience in:
    • Financial Services
    • FinTech
    • Banking
    • Cryptocurrency
