Role overview:
The purpose of this role is to manage the program of key IT & business projects within Merchant Technology. You will be a main point of contact for IT projects and programs within the division and will perform a key role in helping the business to deliver these on time. You will work with the business & IT Leaders to bring certainty and speed of delivery to our initiatives, while also delivering against the IT strategy and reporting to senior stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- You’ll be responsible for IT project/program execution, capacity planning, management, and governance
- You’ll ensure that the top-level strategy and OKRS (objectives and key results) are tracked, reviewed and managed across programs to drive real change across the organization
- You’ll ensure timely delivery of assigned projects/programs, securing appropriate resources and ensuring they hit strategic milestones and KPIs
- You’ll manage large project demand requests made of the project teams, allocating resources appropriately, allowing for up-front decisions, and ensuring program plans are completed
- You’ll be responsible for the adherence to our project capability - ensuring teams are complying with delivery processes and standards. You will redesign processes where it would increase efficiency
- You’ll work closely with all stakeholders at all stages of the process to obtain buy-in and progress program milestones
- You’ll coordinate stakeholder meetings and facilitate the decision-making process
- You’ll drive reports on project status and overall strategy alignment with Senior Management and Executive level
- You’ll identify and work on continual improvement or innovation projects to improve the Project & Program Management capability in the Business Services Technology Group

- Previous experience in presenting to Senior management & C-level executives
Skills
- 7-10 years’ experience in project and program management within an IT department
- Relevant project management qualifications (Prince 2, PMP etc..)
- Experience in Fintech or Payments industry preferred
- Fluent English
