Project Manager – Retail & Restaurant Architecture (Remote)
Overview
Seeking a Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience supporting retail and restaurant projects, with a strong focus on producing construction documents. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring compliance with applicable building codes.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required) and AutoCAD
- Experience developing and reviewing construction documents
- Knowledge of state and local building codes
- Experience with retail, QSR, restaurant, or commercial projects
- Ability to manage 10–20 projects at various stages simultaneously
- Experience leading or coordinating the work of 2–3+ team members
- Architectural background through education or professional experience
- Portfolio/work samples required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review construction documents and architectural drawings
- Coordinate drafting and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations
- Communicate with clients, consultants, landlords, and local authorities
- Review drawings for code compliance and project requirements
- Conduct site surveys as needed
- Maintain project records and documentation
- Support bidding, permitting, and project execution processes
Preferred Experience
- Retail store, big-box retail, or restaurant projects
- Construction document production rather than conceptual design
- Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Flexibility required based on project needs
