Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Specialist to support telecom network macro site modification projects across Northern California and Nevada. This role is responsible for managing site acquisition vendors, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully transition projects to the Construction team.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in telecom real estate, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive site acquisition vendors to deliver project goals and milestones
- Perform project management activities, including milestone tracking and reporting
- Conduct lease due diligence and review contractual agreements
- Act as the primary point of contact representing the company in communications with landlords and stakeholders
- Identify, analyze, and resolve real estate and lease-related issues
- Escalate critical issues to management with recommendations
- Conduct site visits, zoning reviews, and attend zoning hearings as required
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RF, Construction, Network Operations, Fiber, and Legal teams
- Review and manage vendor invoices and purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage and complete tasks in tools such as FUZE
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications real estate, site acquisition, or related field
- Willingness to travel as required
- Strong knowledge of telecom macro site modifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience managing vendors and complex projects
- Strong track record of meeting deadlines and achieving targets
- Knowledge of land use, zoning regulations, and real estate acquisition processes
- Understanding of regional planning, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to read and interpret legal contracts and financial terms
- Experience in legal, construction, or project management disciplines
- Familiarity with construction drawings, RF data sheets, and lease agreements
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in project tracking tools and database systems
