Role Summary

Looking for an experienced Mainframe Automation System Programmer to manage and enhance automation using SA & NetView in a z/OS environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SA & NetView, including PDB updates
• Configure automation tables, message processing, and command lists
• Automate start/stop/restart of system tasks and resources
• Develop automation using REXX
• Support IPL/shutdown automation and STC configuration
• Collaborate with teams to identify and implement automation solutions
• Work within Sysplex environments and integrate tools like Omegamon/IzWS

Requirements

• Strong experience in IBM z/OS & System z architecture
• Hands-on expertise in SA & NetView
• Knowledge of LPAR builds, upgrades, patches, and parmlib maintenance
• Familiarity with JES3 subsystem
