The Manufacturing Engineer develops and improves quality‑focused manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment for new and existing wire, harness, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process Development — Create and refine manufacturing processes for harness systems, cable assemblies, and electro‑mechanical products.

• Work Instructions — Develop and maintain clear, efficient work instructions to improve manufacturability.

• Technical Problem Solving — Diagnose production issues and recommend solutions for internal and customer‑driven design challenges.

• New Product Introduction — Lead engineering activities to transition new products into production.

• Tooling & Fixtures — Design and implement tools and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing.

• Equipment Improvements — Evaluate, justify, and implement new equipment purchases.

• Change Management — Manage process and documentation updates driven by internal or customer engineering changes.

• Drawing & BOM Review — Interpret and audit drawings and BOMs for accuracy.

• Production Support — Provide expert technical guidance to production teams and collaborate with purchasing, quality, test, and manufacturing groups.

• Additional Duties — Perform other engineering tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field preferred

• 2+ years manufacturing engineering experience

• Experience with cable layup/construction and electro‑mechanical assemblies

• Injection molding experience strongly preferred

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)

• Experience with Lean manufacturing

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
