Location: Onsite, Bayamón Clinic (Training in San Juan)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30/8:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM
Patient-Facing Role: Yes
Environment: Care center/clinic with access to medications
Pay Rate: $25/hr $29/hr
⭐ Role Overview
The RN is responsible for administering ordered therapies and delivering high‑quality patient care in alignment with Carelon protocols, INS Standards of Practice, and state/federal regulations. This role supports patient flow, triage, assessments, and clinical documentation while ensuring safety, compliance, and an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Therapy Administration
Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policies.
Perform duties within the RN scope of practice and facility procedures.
Complete patient admissions as directed by the Center Director.
Conduct physical assessments for new consults and ongoing care; refer to the NP as needed.
Evaluate and document patient response to therapy.
Ensure all medication orders are complete, accurate, and up to date before treatment.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Patient Interaction & Education
Perform patient triage to prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
Obtain and record vital signs and initial assessments.
Assist physicians during consultations and procedures.
Support efficient patient flow to reduce wait times.
Provide basic patient education and guidance regarding therapy plans
Minimum Qualifications
ASN or ADN and minimum 2 years of clinical experience; equivalent combinations of education/experience considered.
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Puerto Rico.
Multi‑state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
Active professional membership (Colegiación vigente).
Valid Health Certificate.
Law 300 Certificate.
Criminal Background Check Certificate.
Completion of Tuberculosis test (Paragon & Carelon Health).
Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN degree.
Previous management experience.
Experience with IV therapy.
Work Details
Onsite, 5 days/week (clinic environment).
No weekend support required.
Training at San Juan clinic; primary work location in Bayamón clinic.
