JOB DUTIES
• What makes you the ideal leader?
• Communicating up and down the stack –interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services
• Leading the tech standardization efforts to streamline technology and tools needed to support business needs
• Support the assessment of the program scope and supporting technology capabilities to drive modernization activities
• Build and develop effective relationships with different IT and product teams to find opportunities for increase business value while modernizing our technology solutions
• Create effective program processes and think out of the box to deliver value quickly while managing costs strategically
• Document and conduct presentations for technical, business and leadership audiences to promote program strategy and communicate progress
• Support the IT Delivery group in planning activities across goals, KRs, KPIs etc. as it relates to program goals
• Assist with change management activities for the team and beyond
• Champion the financials of assigned programs, yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving operational efficiency within the program
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conform with all company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills
• Experience in managing technology modernization project teams using a variety of supporting technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different levels of hierarchy
• Strong understanding of program and project management practices and demonstration of essential supporting soft skills
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively
• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to Identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
• 7-10 years of experience in technology project/program leadership roles required
• Financial services industry experience preferred
Licenses
• PMP certification preferred
• Scrum Master Certification preferred
