Position: Professional Services Consultant
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6+ Month Contract with potential to extend
We are seeking a highly skilled ONTAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in OpenText, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Trident technologies. This role is critical to ongoing migration projects and requires candidates who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Tenant Migration Planning: Design and implement a rebalancing program to identify specific tenants and plan migrations across new clusters and arrays for optimal storage utilization.
- QoS Policy Design: Develop and deploy Quality of Service policies across the Supplier environment.
- Performance Reporting: Establish reporting frameworks for performance monitoring and traffic engineering.
- MOP Execution: Execute Method of Procedures (MOPs) to grow and optimize the Supplier environment.
- Storage Deployment: Deploy new Supplier storage arrays into switched clusters, enabling separation of OpenStack and OpenShift environments.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Trident, and OpenStack.
- Strong background in ONTAP storage systems.
- Experience designing and implementing storage migration strategies.
- Ability to create and enforce QoS policies.
- Skilled in performance monitoring and traffic engineering.
