About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support delivery of key data and analytics initiatives within a global data engineering and business intelligence (BI) team. This role focuses on facilitating Agile processes, coaching teams, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner with Product Owners to manage backlog, priorities, and sprint goals
- Track and report team progress, performance metrics, and risks
- Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth delivery
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and deliverables
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and scaling practices
Required Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience working with technical, data engineering, or BI teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Confluence
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe)
- Background in data engineering, BI, or data warehousing
- Agile coaching experience or certifications
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification required
