About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Biostatistics Senior Manager to support advanced clinical data analytics initiatives. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on developing analytical tools, automating workflows, and generating impactful insights using statistical, machine learning, and AI-driven approaches.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable analytics solutions, enhance data quality processes, and deliver interactive dashboards to support clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical tools, dashboards, and applications using R, R Shiny, and/or Python
- Design and implement automated data analysis workflows and reporting pipelines
- Build interactive visualizations and dashboards for clinical data exploration and monitoring
- Perform data quality assessments, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring to ensure data integrity
- Apply statistical methods, machine learning, and AI techniques to complex clinical datasets
- Collaborate with biostatisticians, data scientists, programmers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal processes
- Document analytical methods, tools, and workflows
- Stay current with emerging technologies, AI tools, and analytics best practices
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience & Skills
- 6+ years (Master’s) / 4+ years (PhD) / 10+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in clinical data analysis and statistical methodologies
- Advanced programming skills in R and/or Python
- Experience building tools with R Shiny or similar visualization platforms
- Hands-on experience with:
- Data wrangling and transformation
- Workflow automation
- Exploratory data analysis
- Experience applying machine learning and AI techniques in real-world scenarios
- Familiarity with Git/version control and software development best practices
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a related quantitative field
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research environments
- Knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC SDTM, ADaM)
- Experience developing scalable analytics platforms or AI-enabled tools
- Understanding of the drug development lifecycle
