Location: Remote
Duration – 12-Month Contract (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)
We are seeking a seasoned Content Strategist to join our Insights & Education team. In this role, you will play an integral part in the development and implementation of our content strategy for financial advisors. You will contribute to the broader vision for advisor education and lead various cross-functional teams to execute this strategy. By fostering relationships with key business partners, subject-matter experts, and creative agencies, you will identify critical content needs, drive alignment on key priorities, and lead the end-to-end creation, optimization, and publishing process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary content strategist for asset management educational content aimed at advisors, owning and managing development from ideation to completion.
- Collaborate directly with business partners and subject-matter experts to uncover compelling content topics, while editing and optimizing existing materials.
- Manage the overarching content calendar, taking accountability for project timelines and providing guidance to internal partners and outside agencies on new initiatives.
- Partner with digital marketing teams to develop and implement robust publishing and distribution strategies for content across advisor-focused web properties.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance, making actionable recommendations for future optimization to continually build on success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience writing and editing advisor investment-oriented educational content.
- Experience with investment products and solutions, including alternative investments, model portfolios, and direct indexing.
- Experience developing content across multiple formats, including long- and short-form written, video, and audio.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in driving and executing comprehensive content strategies.
- Working knowledge of SEO/AEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex investing topics into engaging, easy-to-understand formats.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of managing content calendars and project timelines.
- Ability to work independently while seamlessly collaborating with cross-functional teams, business partners, subject-matter experts, and external agencies.
