About the Role:
I am looking to hire a Senior .NET API Engineer to join our API Platform Engineering Team for a long time VIP customer/top class organization. This is a hands-on development role focused on building and enhancing core APIs in a modern, cloud-native environment using .NET 8 Minimal APIs. You’ll work within a domain-driven design framework, emphasizing integration, automation, and a design-first mindset. Looking for a Sr. Level resource who can step into a big project and make impact. The required qualifications and skills below are on point to what is needed. I don't need Kong experience but API Gateway experience with some tool is helpful-not required. This is an amazing project, with an amazing team. You will be a key member of the team
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs using C# and .NET Core
- Implement robust unit and integration tests for all endpoints and key flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
- Lead projects and take ownership of deliverables
- Work within a Kubernetes and Docker-based microservices architecture
- Apply JWT/OAuth2 authentication standards
- Utilize API gateway tools (e.g., Kong, Apigee)
- Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
- Expertise in API development and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with API gateway technologies
- Proficiency in JWT/OAuth2 authentication
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of cloud development practices
- Proven ability to lead projects and drive execution
