Product Manager IV
Location: 100% Remote
Duration – 18 Months
Our digital product team is critical to enabling our kidney care platform, and our product team is growing. We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to drive product outcomes that solve critical business problems. Your primary activities will include defining vision, strategy, and OKRs for your product area, and executing your product vision across one or many applications for various user groups.
We are looking for someone who is an expert relationship builder, has a bias towards action, can collaborate with cross-functional teams, and is obsessive about breaking down complex problems into product solutions alongside engineering, design, and stakeholder teams.
Responsibilities
Execution & Delivery
- Drive the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
- Collaborate with business partners, users, designers, and engineering to ensure solutions achieve business objectives.
- Perform story-mapping exercises with your team to break down work for development.
- Identify cross-team dependencies impacting or impacted by your product lane.
- Prepare for and participate in Roadmap Planning and sprint activities.
- Partner closely with legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure delivered products meet all regulatory requirements.
- Guide the creation of user-facing communication and education related to features and capabilities.
Discovery & Strategy
- Partner with product leadership to refine the vision and strategy for your product area.
- Collaborate with engineering and UX/research to execute discovery activities that bring user needs and pain points to light.
- Work with the UX team to create usable experiences validated through rapid feedback and usability testing iterations.
- Perform end-user shadowing, conduct interviews, and collaborate with clinic, operations, provider, and business stakeholders—as well as design and research teams—to identify and understand problems to solve.
- Understand the organization’s identified business problems to advance the product in a way that works for both users and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of product experience in an agile environment, specifically focused on digital products.
- Experience writing requirements for user stories or software features, and creating complex spreadsheets or presentations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to partner with technical, clinical, and senior business stakeholders to accomplish goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver on tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building health tech products and launching 0-1 products from inception to launch.
- Experience working in healthcare or towards the delivery of web or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of nephrology practices, electronic health care records (EHR) systems, or providing care for renal patients is strongly preferred (industry experience can serve as an invaluable substitute for direct product management skills).
- Strong business acumen, an insatiable curiosity, and a desire to lead.
- Ability to inspire those around you to care about and understand the "why" behind a solution.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly changing organization and quickly build expertise in unfamiliar domains.
