Overview
We are seeking a Production & Tools Manager to lead end-to-end campaign production across multiple digital channels. This role is responsible for ensuring all campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will manage a team of production specialists while owning the marketing automation tools, workflows, and systems that power campaign delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management:
Oversee the full campaign lifecycle including intake, prioritization, build, QA, and launch across channels such as email, push, SMS, in-app, and web experiences. - Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce QA processes ensuring accuracy in content, targeting, personalization, rendering, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM). - Workflow & Capacity Planning:
Manage production timelines, forecast workload, allocate resources, and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Gather requirements, translate briefs into actionable plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Analytics, Legal). - Tools & Systems Ownership:
Act as the subject matter expert for marketing automation platforms, maintaining templates, configurations, and system health. - Training & Enablement:
Educate internal teams on tools, processes, and best practices through documentation and training. - Problem Solving & Optimization:
Identify production issues, implement long-term solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign production, or a similar role
- Strong expertise in marketing automation platforms and multi-channel campaign execution
- Experience managing high-volume production workflows and teams
- Knowledge of QA processes, audience targeting, and personalization logic
- Familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred
- Advanced SQL and audience segmentation experience
- Experience with journey orchestration tools and lifecycle campaigns
- Exposure to A/B testing and campaign performance analysis
- Experience improving workflows, intake processes, or automation systems
