  • Strong scrum leadership: grooming, ceremonies, backlog management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Strong prioritization and ability to manage heavy request volume
  • Experience with Change Management and leading CAB meetings
  • Strong financial/budgeting acumen
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Jira

Nice-to-Have Skills

Role Purpose

The Senior Project Manager ensures successful delivery of IT business solutions by managing projects end‑to‑end, enforcing IT process standards, and leading Change Management across the organization. This role oversees all phases of the project lifecycle and ensures alignment with business and technology objectives.

Core Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery & Execution

  • Manage full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria
  • Lead strategic and long‑term company‑wide initiatives
  • Develop project scope, milestones, resource plans, and technical specifications
  • Support analysis of complex systems and recommend solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to annual planning

2. Change Management Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Ensure change processes mitigate risk and minimize business impact
  • Develop and enforce change management policies, training, and communication

3. Agile & Story Management

  • Write, refine, and maintain user stories for cross‑functional teams
  • Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Conduct grooming sessions and run scrum ceremonies
  • Maintain a clean, well‑documented backlog

4. CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, architects, and product teams
  • Support multiple projects while aligning to one product team’s roadmap
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and red flags to the HM

5. Project Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain project databases, reporting, time tracking, and outage coordination
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Track KPIs, risks, issues, and dependencies

Experience & Education

  • 6–8+ years of IT project management experience (8+ preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, CIS, or related field
  • PMP & ITIL strongly preferred
