Title: Marketing Manager – Channel Governance & Compliance

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and operationalize permissions, consent, and opt-out strategies across all marketing channels, including Direct Mail, Email, SMS, Outbound Calling, and emerging channels, in partnership with Product and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations for new marketing channels and vendors, ensuring adherence to defined standards, APIs, and feedback mechanisms. Advocate for real-time or near–real-time data feeds covering opt-outs, reach rates, dispositions, and campaign outcomes.
  • Establish and document marketing channel best practices and standards, including regulatory requirements, closed-loop data flows, KPIs, and brand guidelines. KPIs may include call reach rates, open rates, dispositions, and downstream outcomes.
  • Define and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure regulatory compliance with opt-out and consent requirements across all channels.
  • Train and enable marketing teams on channel standards and best practices to ensure consistent understanding and application across campaigns and journeys.
  • Define, capture, and track channel adoption metrics, orchestration-related management objectives, and supporting operational processes.
  • Monitor, interpret, and operationalize changes to key marketing and communication regulations (e.g., Do Not Call, anti-spam laws, TCPA), translating regulatory updates into clear operational guidance.
  • Implement and operationalize approved standards and governance models within enterprise marketing platforms and tools following stakeholder approval.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Intelligence and Analytics teams to design, manage, and socialize a refreshed campaign and journey taxonomy that supports accurate performance tracking, attribution, and measurement of member outcomes and new customer growth.

Must Have / Required:

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence rather than direct authority, collaborating across marketing, technology, analytics, and compliance teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience creating clear standards, policies, playbooks, and training materials for broad and diverse audiences.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate complex technical, regulatory, and data concepts into practical, actionable guidance for operational teams.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, building structure, governance, and repeatable processes where none previously existed.
  • Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset, with a willingness to quickly learn new marketing channels, technologies, regulatory frameworks, and operating models in a fast-changing landscape.
