Position: Analyst – Asset Management
Location: Plano, TX (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
What You’ll Do
- Fixed asset accounting support: maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Asset lifecycle management: record acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
- Compliance: ensure adherence to GAAP and company capitalization policies.
- Financial close activities: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Reporting: deliver detailed fixed asset reports to management.
- Budgeting and forecasting: support capital expenditure planning.
- Audit support: handle internal/external audit requests.
- Process improvement: enhance asset management systems.
- Lease accounting: administer leased asset records.
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ years in fixed asset accounting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP ERP experience
- CPA or public accounting background
- Lease accounting knowledge (ASC 842)
- Understanding of the automotive industry
