Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator
Duration: 3 months contract + Possibility of Extension
Location: Irving, TX 75038
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm
Essential Responsibilities
The Patient Service Representative will:
Answer a high volume of inbound calls from patients and providers regarding appointments and general inquiries
Schedule, reschedule, and track patient appointments accurately
Document all patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner
Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and coordinate care-related activities
Route calls to providers or appropriate departments according to established protocols
Provide information and assistance while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
Use active listening to fully understand and resolve patient concerns
Escalate issues appropriately based on defined guidelines
Maintain control of interactions to ensure complete and efficient resolution of patient needs
Meet key performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and attendance standards
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and strong communication skills in every interaction
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
Strong communication skills, including clear speaking, listening, and documentation
Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
