About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and design scalable, automated solutions. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating requirements into functional system specifications, ensuring high-quality system design, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into system specifications.
- Assist in designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining business systems to ensure alignment with user needs and organizational goals.
- Develop business process flows, logical diagrams, and functional documentation to support system development.
- Partner with developers to evaluate feasibility and implement new systems or enhancements to existing platforms.
- Support system integration, testing, and validation, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution across multiple systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and training materials.
- Support end-user training, system deployment activities, and post-implementation reviews.
- Track project progress, identify risks or deviations, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience working with business systems, requirements analysis, or a related role.
- Experience collaborating with end-users to understand and address business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data structures, system design, and scripting concepts.
- Experience in financial services or payments (e.g., bankcard industry) is a plus.
- Familiarity with business analysis methodologies or progress toward certifications such as CBAP.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing processes, and workflow design.
