Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and manage our Snowflake data environment. The role involves building scalable data structures, optimizing database performance, and supporting data integration to enable reliable reporting, analytics, and downstream data consumption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain tables and data structures within the Snowflake environment
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for performance and scalability
• Translate business and technical requirements into efficient data models and database solutions
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to address data needs
• Ensure adherence to data modeling standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot query performance, tables, and data pipelines
• Perform data quality checks, profiling, and reconciliation
• Implement and follow security, governance, and access control policies within Snowflake
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support

Core Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or analytics roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• SQL
• Python
• Snowflake data analysis and development
• Data quality and profiling in Snowflake

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML applications in data management
• Understanding of modern data architecture and scalable systems
