About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in an AWS environment. This is a part-time role requiring deep expertise in infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and continuous delivery practices.

You will work closely with engineering teams to enable efficient deployments, improve system reliability, and support cloud-native application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS and GitLab tools
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS Fargate
• Automate build and deployment workflows using AWS CodeBuild and GitLab CI/CD
• Manage source code repositories using AWS CodeCommit or equivalent systems
• Configure and maintain AWS services including S3, SNS, and Lambda
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and event-driven automation
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, S3, and ECS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or equivalent)
• Experience with container-based deployment and orchestration
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS CDK for programmatic infrastructure definition
• Experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodeCommit
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures using SNS and Lambda
• Experience working in distributed systems and microservices environments
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
