About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SET) to support both test automation and manual validation efforts across full-stack applications. This role involves building scalable test frameworks, ensuring product quality, and contributing to reliable CI/CD pipelines.

You will work across backend and frontend systems, developing automated tests and executing manual validation to ensure robust and high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and end-to-end testing
• Execute manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience
• Develop backend unit and integration tests using Java
• Build frontend component and end-to-end tests using TypeScript
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Manage test execution workflows using Maven and npm
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the software lifecycle
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in test automation and manual testing
• Experience with Java for backend testing
• Experience with TypeScript for frontend testing
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., TestIM or similar)
• Experience integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or equivalent)
• Experience with build tools such as Apache Maven and npm

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-code or UI-based automation tools such as TestIM
• Experience with end-to-end and integration testing strategies
• Experience with Python for test data generation or scripting
• Familiarity with modern testing practices in cloud-native environments
• Experience working in agile development teams
