About the job

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and passionate Senior Technical Program Manager of Front-End Experiences to elevate our digital customer journey to the next level. In this role, you will solve complex problems across a broad range of financial domains—including digital wealth management, banking, retirement planning, and equity compensation. You will drive the construction of ultra-fast, high-performance front-end digital experiences powered by a modern Headless Content Management System (CMS).

This role focuses on proactively engaging with both technical and business functions to deliver personalized, customizable digital experiences that help clients achieve their financial goals. Collaborating across product and engineering teams, you will guide a cross-functional program team to holistically enhance a robust, secure, and efficient client experience across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is process- and data-oriented, possesses exceptional communication skills, and has extensive experience with secure, client-facing online technologies.

Responsibilities

· Program Leadership & Web Delivery: Drive end‑to‑end execution of digital initiatives spanning the CMS, design system, and Next.js application layers. Translate business and content requirements into structured technical initiatives, epics, and clear delivery milestones in Jira.

· Cross-Functional Coordination: Align engineering, design, content strategy, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive feature delivery. Manage cross-functional dependencies across CMS schema changes, API integrations, front‑end components, and deployment workflows.

· Technical Partnership: Participate in architectural discussions regarding rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR), routing, caching, and performance optimization. Understand CMS content modeling and API querying models (REST, GROQ, GraphQL) well enough to challenge assumptions and unblock development teams.

· Risk Mitigation & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks related to content migrations, breaking API changes, caching strategies, and release timing. Facilitate postmortems for production issues (e.g., rendering failures, CMS outages) and implement long-term systemic fixes.

· Operational Excellence: Use data analytics, Core Web Vitals, A/B testing, and telemetry to guide prioritization and measure success. Champion web accessibility, SEO, and performance standards while promoting consistent use of design systems and CMS governance.

Minimum qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

· 8–10 years of technical program management experience, specifically leading technical programs for web applications, digital experiences, or content‑driven platforms.

· Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including project estimation, scheduling, and agile digital product delivery.

· Hands-on experience with modern front‑end architectures (e.g., Next.js, React) and headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Payload, Strapi) including content modeling concepts.

· Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous environments, creating structure around evolving requirements, and building cross-functional alignment.

Preferred qualifications

· Background in software engineering, front‑end development, or web platform architecture.

· Familiarity with GROQ/GraphQL, REST APIs, CDN caching, and edge rendering.

· Deep understanding of design systems, component libraries, and digital accessibility standards (WCAG).

· Proven track record of supporting SEO‑critical, high‑traffic web experiences and improving publishing workflows or CMS governance.

· Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders and influence partners at all levels of an organization.
