SAP Release Manager – S/4HANA (RISE)

SAP Release Manager responsible for end-to-end release and transport management across SAP S/4HANA environments (development, QA, pre-production, production) within a large-scale enterprise transformation.

Own SAP release lifecycle including planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of transports and deployments using SAP ChaRM (Change and Release Management) and SAP Cloud ALM. Ensure controlled, low-risk delivery of changes across complex SAP landscapes.

Coordinate with SAP BASIS, development, functional, security, and system integrator teams to manage transport sequencing, dependencies, and release readiness. Support cutover planning, testing cycles, dress rehearsals, and go-live execution.

Provide release governance, risk management, escalation handling, and status reporting to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with audit, change management, and internal controls. Drive continuous improvement of release processes and support transition to steady-state operations.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years SAP experience (release, change, or deployment management)
  • Hands-on SAP ChaRM and/or SAP Cloud ALM
  • Strong SAP transport management and landscape knowledge
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield preferred)
  • Experience with RISE with SAP or cloud environments preferred
  • Background supporting cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication skills
