Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, big data, data platforms, or infrastructure engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong practical expertise with Hadoop ecosystems, particularly HPE MapR distribution.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture, data storage frameworks, and cluster computing principles.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, Scala, or Bash.
- Working knowledge of Apache Spark, including both batch and stream processing frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage and support production-grade, enterprise-scale clusters with high availability and reliability requirements.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex issues in large-scale distributed environments.
- Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring and observability tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.
