About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit/Compliance Analyst to provide technical accounting expertise and support across financial and business functions. In this role, you will interpret accounting guidance, support complex transactions, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. You will also play a key role in maintaining and enhancing accounting policies and monitoring emerging regulatory developments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory guidance for new products, complex transactions, and non‑routine events
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums and documentation to support accounting positions
• Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management and cross‑functional teams
• Monitor and assess emerging accounting and regulatory changes, and evaluate their impact
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements
• Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, audit, and regulatory teams
• Contribute to industry discussions and support preparation of comment letters or policy inputs
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and initiatives as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting policy, auditing, or financial statement preparation
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Experience in financial reporting and accounting research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, or a combination of Big 4 and industry experience
• Experience within banking or financial services
• Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
• Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to senior stakeholders
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
