1. The Company
The Judge Group is working with a technology company in the hospitality and restaurant technology industry to fill a Product Manager (Onsite) role.
The company develops integrated hardware, software, cloud-based, and AI-enabled platforms that support restaurant operations, payments, loyalty programs, and guest engagement at scale.
2. The Position
The Product Manager will support the company’s Platform & Integrations product strategy, with a strong focus on POS systems, payment platforms, loyalty integrations, and customer data management.This role emphasizes applying AI-driven capabilities—including analytics, automation, personalization, and predictive insights—to improve reliability, scalability, and guest engagement. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, data science, and business stakeholders in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
3. Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and communicate a product vision that leverages AI-driven capabilities such as predictive analytics, personalization, and automation.
- Align AI-enabled initiatives with business objectives and contribute to shared product roadmaps.
- Customer & Market Insights
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements using data-driven and AI-supported research techniques.
- Partner with sales and business teams to validate market needs and refine product assumptions.
- Market Research
- Conduct competitive and market research using traditional methods and AI-powered trend analysis.
- Identify innovation opportunities through workflow modeling, forecasting, and industry analysis.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work directly with restaurant operators and internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges and guest experience pain points.
- Translate insights into actionable, AI-enhanced product requirements.
- Product Roadmap Management
- Develop and maintain an AI-informed product roadmap.
- Prioritize features based on customer feedback, predictive KPIs, and measurable business impact.
- User Experience
- Collaborate with design teams to deliver intuitive and personalized user experiences.
- Incorporate adaptive interfaces, smart recommendations, and automated support flows.
- Performance Metrics & Analytics
- Define and track KPIs using advanced analytics and experimentation platforms.
- Monitor product performance, forecast usage trends, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Integration Ownership
- Own end-to-end POS, payment, and loyalty integrations.
- Lead requirements definition, API coordination, partner enablement, certification processes, and release readiness.
- Apply AI where appropriate to enhance reliability, data mapping, fraud detection, and operational automation.
- Technical Collaboration & Governance
- Partner closely with engineering, platform, and data science teams.
- Ensure scalable system architecture, responsible AI practices, and long-term maintainability.
4. Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role
- Experience managing products through the full lifecycle from concept to launch
- Proven experience delivering products involving POS integrations, loyalty programs, or customer data platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools and methodologies (e.g., ML-driven analytics, predictive models, LLM-enabled workflows)
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and software development processes
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
5. Desired Skills
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail technology environments
- Knowledge of POS systems, ordering platforms, and proprietary hardware devices
- Exposure to data governance, privacy considerations, and responsible AI practices
- Experience operating in fast-paced environments with multiple external partners
