About the Role
In this role, you will provide critical Business Analyst expertise to meet core business objectives. You will bring leadership, perspective, a consistent approach, and quality assurance to your assigned project. Acting as a Product Owner, you will assist the Financial Platform Team by driving key initiatives, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
· Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that operational needs are understood, prioritized, and incorporated into the delivery process.
· Monitoring overall project development and report progress to project managers and leadership, actively updating RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs to manage and mitigate roadblocks.
· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while aligning Rally reporting with Jira requirements.
· Remain readily available to stakeholders to answer questions, gather feedback, and manage expectations to foster a collaborative and transparent partnership.
· Track sprint and initiative progress, effectively communicating status, risks, escalations, and outcomes to both business and technology leadership.
· Work alongside platform product owners to support the product roadmap, aligning upcoming features and technical improvements with broader business objectives and communicating timelines to stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience in journey mapping based on subject matter expert interviews and a strong understanding of operational processes.
· Proven ability to collaborate and drive initiatives across multi-domain teams within an Agile environment.
· Experience translating complex business needs into clear product requirements and driving execution from discovery to delivery.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building trusted relationships across both technology and business stakeholder groups.
· Formal Agile training and hands-on knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
· Advanced knowledge and proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications
· Practical experience using Rally for agile tracking and reporting.
· Background working in finance, mutual funds, or related operational sectors.
