Our client is currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Location: Fully Remote (PST hours preferred)
Duration: 8-months with possibility of extension
About the Job
Providing world-class customer service for a global community of users is a critical mission for our client. The Internal Knowledge Management team is foundational to this effort, focusing heavily on the customer service knowledge base and internal policies. This team is responsible for building robust, scalable platforms that improve content quality and the overall user experience, serving as the authoritative knowledge source for AI-powered applications and support surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize content-author and end-user-facing solutions to improve content quality and user experience across the customer service knowledge base.
- Take ownership of the engineering backlog, managing the creation and updating of platform features while actively tracking performance metrics.
- Act as a technical bridge by taking input from business teams and converting them into comprehensive technical design documents.
- Lead system design and architecture, utilizing best practices for end-to-end UI, backend, and API design.
- Collaborate closely with product, content, and operations teams to scale knowledge creation workflows and integrate AI-based analysis tools.
- Drive alignment and managing projects to ensure the evolving needs of the community support platform are met efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development utilizing React and TypeScript.
- Deep expertise in backend development, specifically with recent, hands-on experience in Java.
- Proven experience in UI, backend, and API design, with a strong foundation in overall system design and architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to author technical design documents and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- 2+ years of industry experience building custom content author-facing tools, workflows, and CMS integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work within the PST time zone.
- Industry experience working specifically with the Contentstack CMS.
- Domain knowledge in customer service platforms, knowledge bases, or policy management systems.
