Our client is currently seeking a Content and Product Marketing Specialist and this is a 100% Remote role (EST/CST hrs).
Job Title: Creative Content and Product Marketing Specialist
Worksite Location: 100% Remote.
Overview of position:
We’re seeking a dynamic and creative Content and Product Marketing Specialist with a passion for enhancing customer experiences and a talent for aligning content with overarching business and product strategy.
Responsibilities
Product Marketing:
- Work closely with the product development team to understand product features and enhancements and translate these updates into clear, targeted messaging to relevant audiences.
- Write, edit and manage content across marketing materials, web and customers’ online accounts, ensuring information is accurate, easy to understand, and aligned with brand and product standards.
- Develop, refine and execute marketing processes related to product releases – leveraging best practices and supporting multi-stakeholder involvement.
Content Creation and Optimization:
- Develop content to support current and prospective customers and partners and expand reach to support new audience and delivery channels.
- Write, edit and review copy to align with brand voice and style guide.
- Follow projects through all stages of development, review, approval and execution.
- Collaborate on website content, design and functionality to ensure it meets brand requirements, audience need and evolving SEO/AEO best practices.
- Manage within deadlines and with attention to detail.
- Create project briefs and communication plans in collaboration with marketing team and cross functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience in content creation, digital marketing and/or product marketing.
- Proven experience collaborating with technical product development teams, including ongoing support for product roadmaps, feature planning and release cycles.
- Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
GREAT to have but not absolutely required.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console).
- Familiarity with AEO principles and working knowledge of AI-driven search behaviors.
o They are working on developing the AEO principles & would be helpful to have someone who can offer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). TEAMS houses all collaboration
- Familiarity with Workfront or other project management tool is preferred.
