Job Title: ServiceNow Security Incident & Vulnerability Response Lead
Location: Remote (Quarterly on-site travel to a U.S.-based office)

Summary:
We are seeking a senior ServiceNow professional with deep hands-on expertise in Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR). This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SIR and VR solutions, integrating vulnerability data sources, automating remediation workflows, and delivering actionable security insights. The position requires close collaboration with security operations, IT, and cross‑functional stakeholders across distributed teams.

This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SIR and VR solutions, integrating vulnerability data sources, automating remediation workflows, and delivering actionable security insights. The position requires close collaboration with security operations, IT, and cross‑functional stakeholders across distributed teams.
Required / Mandatory Skills:
- 12+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform
- 5+ years of direct experience implementing ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR)
- Design, configuration, and customization of SIR and VR modules
- Development of workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations supporting the SIR & VR lifecycle
- Integration of VR with external vulnerability scanners and CMDB for automated data import and correlation
- Configuration of MID Servers, data sources, and API connections
- Automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation tracking, and exception management
- Creation of dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators for vulnerability KPIs and trends
- Strong understanding of SOC operations and incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, SANS)
- Experience working with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM processes
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP integrations
- Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders across onsite and offshore teams
