Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager
Project Manager – ERP (SAP to S/4HANA)
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Job Type: Contract (8 months with Possible Extension)
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex ERP initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP to S/4HANA implementations. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects within defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives while working with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage one or more medium to large‑scale ERP projects from initiation through implementation
- Plan, coordinate, and track project workstreams and deliverables
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including:
- Feasibility and requirements gathering
- Analysis and business case / ROI development
- Design, testing, and implementation planning
- Ensure project requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies are clearly documented
- Communicate proactively with team members regarding upcoming activities and milestone deadlines
- Identify, monitor, and escalate risks or issues that may impact project delivery
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Coordinate cross‑functional resources and manage resource allocation
- Support change management and business process alignment efforts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project or Program Management
- Hands‑on experience managing ERP implementations, preferably SAP to S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems
- Experience leading projects involving master data (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage medium to large, complex initiatives
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams
- Availability to work full‑time during CST business hours (8:00–5:00 CST)
Technical & Tool Requirements
- Strong experience with project planning and tracking tools
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Visio for process documentation
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
Must‑Have Skill Sets
- Project / program management focused on systems and software delivery
- ERP implementation experience (SAP background required)
- Strong planning, coordination, and execution skills
- Risk management, issue escalation, and stakeholder communication
