The Product Manager for Human Capital and Time Management Applications serves as the critical bridge between IT and Human Resources, driving the strategic alignment of technology with HR business objectives. You will manage the full lifecycle of HR applications, including platforms like Workday, Kronos, and HealthStream, ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-value IT solutions. Reporting to the Director of Human Capital and Time Management Applications, you will blend technical expertise with business acumen to support existing systems, lead projects, and facilitate strategic IT initiatives within the HR domain.
Responsibilities
Oversee the building of products to ensure the quality of digital application solutions, and develop new ideas based on contact with department partners.
Manage, administer, and plan the development of all digital and analytics application activities while leading without authority through ambiguity and complexity.
Analyze and recommend appropriate technical solutions, digital applications, and integration efforts to support the enterprise by understanding industry problems and finding innovative solutions.
Maintain a leadership role in setting service directions, ensuring standards and policies are compatible with enterprise-standard information systems architecture, tools, and procedures.
Serve as the internal and external evangelist for analytics and applications product offerings.
Ensure adequate oversight by and participation among key business and digital application partners from clinical, business, and research areas.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, integration analysts, and engineers in creating digital applications and analytics products.
Develop broader awareness of the optimal use of digital applications enterprise-wide, maintaining relationships with enterprise leaders to support data-driven decision-making and best practice sharing.
Lead application selection and preparation of RFPs in conjunction with internal procurement personnel.
Participate in developing and implementing the Information Services Strategic Plan, focusing on digital integration with the central business office.
Collaborate with the PMO to develop benchmark measures, plans, and financial models to evaluate projects impacting digital applications.
Deliver engaging presentations to large groups and executive stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting with strong working knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
5 years of experience in Information Technology focused on configuring and supporting HRIS systems, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
3+ years of proven experience managing leadership-level business relationships and leading technology teams in application support or project management.
Comprehensive end-to-end experience leading a full Generative AI roll-out.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, Agile methodologies, ITIL frameworks, and software delivery methodologies.
Experience with the implementation, re-engineering, or redesign of scheduling and timekeeping applications, credential tracking, and identity management across employees and non-employees.
Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise IT strategy, with experience acting as a consultant or facilitator.
Preferred qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
