Our client is currently seeking a Infrastructure Design Technician
Job Title: Infrastructure Design Technician
Location: Fully Remote role
Duration: 1+ Years
About the Role: Responsible for internal network order fulfillment and designing circuit paths within the network. Within the design responsibilities, accountable for producing an accurate design layout record that demonstrates an understanding of the network, and documentation to support network failures and maintenance activity.
Impact:
- Designs/Redesigns Layer 1 circuit layout records in TIRKS database to accurately reflect the network build including DWDM, SONET, TDM, Ethernet and IP across the Network.
- Resolve any inventory discrepancies in accordance with the EIRG/FIRG database and job aides.
- Collaborate with Planning and Engineering to build and provision equipment and infrastructure circuits that support our customer need.
- Understand the fiber cable configurations in relations to above solutions.
- Maintain and Support Network Infrastructure records in all applicable applications.
- Demonstrate ability to efficiently and accurately design and process internal network orders.
