Job Description:
You will be part of a large, mature Project Management organisation comprising 90+ project managers, ranging from junior to very senior levels. The team supports a broad and diverse enterprise landscape, including multiple business units and operational areas such as core business operations, distribution, specialised services, and customer‑facing platforms.
The environment is highly collaborative, fast‑paced, and cross‑functional, requiring strong coordination across organisational boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Programme and Project Definition
- Contribute to, lead, and own the development of programme and project scope artefacts, including:
- Project/Programme Charters
- Statements of Work (SOW)
- Business Vision Documents
- Project/Programme Plans
- Communication Plans
- Status and Issue Reporting
- Planning and Governance
- Coordinate, own, and provide input into programme and project schedules, budgets, scope, benefits, and quality measures.
- Ensure alignment with organisational standards, governance models, and delivery frameworks.
- Delivery Execution
- Develop, coordinate, and complete assigned programme and project work on time and within budget.
- Effectively manage assigned resources to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Financial Management
- Develop and contribute to project budgets and forecasts.
- Drive the capture and tracking of project economics, including:
- Cost/benefit analysis
- Capital planning
- Staffing impact assessments
- Support the approval process with relevant stakeholders.
- Issue and Risk Management
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues, challenges, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own issue resolution by engaging the right resources, escalating when required, and driving issues to closure.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Build strong working relationships across business, operations, and technology teams.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have)
- 5+ years of project management experience or equivalent experience delivering complex initiatives.
- Proven experience working in a large, cross‑matrixed enterprise environment.
- Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, gain buy‑in, and implement plans across organisational boundaries.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience in business operations strategy definition and execution within a matrixed organisation.
- Background in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with large‑scale operations, distribution, or service‑based business models.
- Experience using Smartsheet or similar project and programme management tools.
