Role: Supply Chain Manager (Governance)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Remote with travel (50-75%)
Job Description:
| Role: Supply Chain Manager (Governance) |
| Duration: 12 months - convert to hire |
| Travel up to 50-75% |
| Role Description The player-coach. Runs governance AND does hands-on savings work. Must be a generalist who can pivot across all categories |
| • Run Steering Committees and executive governance meetings (like a Director, but at a smaller scale) |
| • Set savings targets, manage budget, track engagement performance |
| • ALSO actively lead sourcing work — RFPs, negotiations, product evaluations |
| • Cover clinical AND non-clinical categories as needed (med/surg, purchased services, facilities, lab) |
| • Manage a small team (1-2 direct reports) |
| Required Skills • 5+ years healthcare supply chain or consulting |
| • 3+ years with governance experience (steering committees, executive reporting) |
| • Generalist orientation — can work across clinical and non-clinical categories |
| • RFP/negotiation experience |
| • Strong project management skills — this person juggles governance + delivery |
